About Us

We develop functional biomaterials that are bioinspired in that they mimic the biochemical and/or physical properties of the native tissue. We also use these biomaterials as models to understand diseased tissues.

Tissue engineering approaches include the use of stem cells and other cell types as well as biological factors in combination with these biomaterials to repair tissues.
