Active Research Projects
We have developed platform biomaterial technologies to be utilized for a variety of applications. They can be used alone or as scaffolds for tissue engineering. Tissue engineering approaches in our laboratory include the use of stem cells and other cell types and biological factors in combination with these biomaterials to repair tissues. We are primarily focused on repairing bone, cartilage, and nervous tissue injuries or conditions. However, these technologies can be applied to a wide range of clinical applications.
